Program Overview
51³Ô¹ÏÍø is proud to host The 51³Ô¹ÏÍø Pantry Pop-Up, a weekly cost-free, mobile food pantry that brings fresh produce and healthy shelf-stable food directly to the campus and surrounding community. 51³Ô¹ÏÍø State partners with the The 51³Ô¹ÏÍø Pantry on this initiative to address food insecurity in 51³Ô¹ÏÍø and at 51³Ô¹ÏÍø State.
The 51³Ô¹ÏÍø Pantry Pop-Up operates much like a traditional food pantry with food being provided to 51³Ô¹ÏÍø residents and 51³Ô¹ÏÍø State students, faculty, and staff at no cost. Food is delivered to the above location and is generally displayed in a farmer’s market format for selection and is distributed by volunteers.
51³Ô¹ÏÍø and The 51³Ô¹ÏÍø Pantry work together to provide a free, reliable source of healthy and nutritious food for food-insecure individuals, primarily students, in the 51³Ô¹ÏÍø community. Additionally, 51³Ô¹ÏÍø and The 51³Ô¹ÏÍø Pantry shall work together to develop and establish policies and procedures that will promote and sustain the provision of that food for students.
The intent of The 51³Ô¹ÏÍø Pantry Pop-Up is to offer food to those in need at more convenient locations throughout the City of 51³Ô¹ÏÍø. Please check The or follow their and to get updates on the pop-up locations and schedule throughout the year.
51³Ô¹ÏÍø State students, faculty, and staff are asked to show their ClipperCard to access food. City of 51³Ô¹ÏÍø residents will be asked to complete a one-time registration form upon arrival.
Volunteers are needed to assist with setup, food distribution and breakdown. Please contact Mike Lilley, Director of Programs and Partnerships, or visit if you have questions or are interested in learning more.
